There are three kind of titles:

PvP (They have no real maximum and go on forever)
Grind (You have to repeat the very same thing again and again, gaining more and more points, until hitting a maximum that is sometimes too far away to get in less than 6 months. And even more if you enjoy playing with 10 professions.)
Achievement (You get then advancing in the game, and never making the very same thing, each point is acquired just once and for all).

I would agree with making 'grind' titles easier to acquire, specially the more characters you have, so getting them with 10 characters would be asier, but not for all.
Defender of Ascalon should banish if you leave ascalon.
Survivor should be available for all characters.

That's the only things needed.

Not hoping they make them easyer, just make them account based. For all those dead horse fetish people who like to use the phrase "earn them." I did earn them, I am pretty much finished on my warrior, but sometimes groups don't need warriors in high level elite areas, and in order to join them you need a different profession.

So in order to play an ele in those areas I have to re-grind everything I already accomplished.

Nerds forget, you are not the character, you as a person do not = the character you play. You as a gamer are the account, it doesn't make sense to re-grind things when you've already done it once, why not just move onto another game then, OR make it so I don't have to re-accomplish every little PvE title just to use certain skills. Which is why I re-posted this issue, guild wars 2 is coming out soon anyways, why should I have to redo everything just to see the game as a different profession. This is also why I use heroes/henchmen for everything because I can't get into groups as a warrior, or the groups are full of bad builds, and I can't compensate as a warrior for them.

There is nothing really negative at all about making titles account based, it doesn't really make sense to even argue it. Most people who are arguing aren't even that good in the game (I followed up on them). If I do something that is redundent (grinding, and farming) in order to achieve something so I can enjoy playing the game, why should I have to constantly keep doing it over and over for all the professions.

I play multiple characters.

People who think titles are worthless... well, then it shouldn't matter to you if the rest of us are saved grinding a title 8 times over.

There are only 2 titles that I would like to see moved to Account Based as opposed to Character Based and those are:

Wisdom Seeker
Treasure Hunter

my reasons for this are the same as they are for many other players who have stated exactly the same reasons before me: I use 1 char out of the 10 that I actively play (some more than others admittedly) to id any golds that I get, and this same char gets any high end keys/'picks that drop to use.

Other than that the title tracks are absolutely fine the way they are.

We don't want the titles for free, we want it so when we get a title we keep the title on our account.

Have you done the grinding for r10 sunspear? It's terrible. x8 for each character? WoW-style grind.

At the very least faction titles should all be account based instead of only Kurzick/Luxon.
